Our vessel “Pellew” is a faithful reproduction inspired by the 68′ Falmouth Pilot Cutter Vincent bill in St Mawes in 1852.
Luke Powell has faithfully recreated this vessel drawing plans using an original builders model found in St Mawes and given to Ralph Bird, Devoran Pilot gig binder, and his own experience building Scillonian Pilot cutters.
Pellew will be launched in February 2020 and will complete a full charter season with adult guest crews throughout the summer of 2020. For up to date pictures and build news visit our yard news page
